On the Front Steps

I understand that it is hard to talk about a project like this without coming off as showy or pretentious. In an age where almost anything can be perceived as offensive, allow me to keep this brief and assure you - I don’t care.

Thank you so much to the many families who reached out to me and willingly got their pictures taken during a time period without barbers or salons, and selflessly gave to the many charities listed below. I know that these sessions were quick, distant, and far from ordinary. Regardless, know that I enjoyed every one of our conversations. It was a pleasure to take part in helping you document the one time your entire family was under one roof, celebrate your big days, and announce some good news. Thank you for your generosity, and for giving me a reason to get out of my sweatpants and back on the road.

The Front Steps Project was started by a New England Photographer named Cara Souila. While I love this project and was happy to take part in it, the credit for the idea goes exclusively to her.
